Wayne looked around the offices that they had setup, so far everything he
had wanted had been accomplished and then some. It had taken him a while to
get to this point but now that he was here he was not about to let a little
thing like an explosion put a damper on things for him. The security chief
he had found out had one hell of a history including assault and several
other problems. That information alone would have made his decision for him
however and thankfully for the staff on the station he had, had the
foresight to install several extras.

The independent lifesupport system, shield generator and security measures
had done exactly as they had intended. Coupled with the site to site
transporter that he had installed this was most likely the most secure place
around. The transporters were only linked to a few places and powered
independent of the stations power grid with a little luck until things
calmed down they would be able to have something like normal business
operations.

The one thing that had really pissed him off was the way that the security
chief had acted like a condescending jerk. Truth of the matter was that he
was of the mindset that if the men at the top were jerks then the entire
department would be the same way. He would not report the man just yet but
he would watch him and start setting up a few eyes around the station. It
was not something he liked to do but two people could play the chiefs game.
and if the whole security department was indeed as incompetent as their
leader then it would be a good thing that he had his own people around.

So far he had not seen anything from the marines which was not really a
surprise as it was known that most of the unit was off the station doing
training. Well if there was no security to help at least he would be able
to help maybe keep things in line. He would have to talk to the station
commander or possibly the civilian liaison. Though again he did not hold
out much hope for whoever the officer was.

HE returned to his office and started things rolling by sending out messages
to both of the people he hoped would get him the answers he needed!
