Rianni began to stir for the first time in weeks, her eyes fluttered first, then popped open and with every once of strength her weakened muscles could muster she forced herself upright.
Petty Officer Steve Penobscot hated pulling Corpsman duty on the night shift, especially when he was assigned to monitor the veggie's vital signs, ~That bitch is never going to wake up, I don't know why they haven't just pulled the plug on her anyway. Another frackin' Romulan.~ He was so lost in his anger at the assignment that he didn't notice the "veggie" was now sitting up and removing monitors from herself.
~Borg. It was.....one of the...Borg. Poison.~ Rianni's mind managed the tattered thoughts as she staggered ahead, falling down onto the enlisted man in teal sitting in the darkened room.
Penobscot turned around just in time to see Rianni falling forward onto him, barely managing to get his arms up to grab her, "Oh, frack!" He gasped, he definitely hadn't expected this. He sat her down in a chair next to his and got on his knees in front of her, "Okay, Commander, can you...."
"Isha." She managed, "Isha. Borg....poison. Isha."
"OooooKay." Penobscot managed, the only word there that seemed to make any sense to him was Isha, ~She's that Romulan diplomat chick isn't she? First thing she wants is another Romulan, of course.~
He tapped his commbadge as he kept an eye on her, =^=Medical to Isha, we need you in sickbay.=^=
