ON:

On another of his sleepless nights, Three of Six walked through the lower decks. This was a part he had not seen, except in monitor screens, and he thought it was a good idea to look around.

Mokab was not easy in his cardboard home. Too many things had happened this evening and the atmosphere on the Promenade was dull, to say the least. He did his utmost to make sure that all his valuables were close at hand and once secure in the knowledge they were indeed safe, he peered out of the small spy gap to take a look at the outside world.
What caught his eye, was the ex Borg, something to do with the diplomatic staff.
~ What does he want down here? On the scout or just lost?~ He thought.
He watched the near human for a few minutes and finally decided that he was in deed unsure of his whereabouts, slipped his hand through and pushed open the paper flap, crawling back out into the open space.

"Sir! Forgive a silly Bolian, but I sense that your bearings are not aforesighted to you?" He said with his usual cheery manner.

Looking at the Bollian, Three said "I am merely exploring, Mister...?"

"Ahh, yes. Mellibrate. Mokab Mellibrate, " He smiled, offering forward his dirty hand. "And your name good sir?" He asked, careful to look the man in the eye, rather than the remnants of the implant on his other.

Shaking the Bollian's hand without regard for the grime, the former Borg droned "Three of Six. I take it you live here?"

Still smiling and enjoying the warmth in the mans' hand, he was saddened to let go. "Well, in all honesty Mr Six, ones does but try to eek out a meagre existence in these intestinal areas of the station." He was sure they had met before, it was an odd though to have in his mind, but he was certain he had met him. "And what is it that thee doth seek in the lower echelons of this divine vicinity. I doth not doubt you are seeking an answer to the attempt on thine own Captain I suspect. Would I be terribly far from the truth?" He asked, his head cocking to one side, his attention drawn to the glistening jewel that lay at the centre of his implant.

"Not really. I am not part of the security forces, that is hardly my task." Three answered. "Why, do you know something?"

Mokab shook his head. "Only what I have heard and some whispers. What may be of interest, is the Romulan conversation that I happened to overhear earlier. I believed the Lytosians were supposed to be the entities that wished the death of a primary member of starfleet?" He dropped his eye line from the metallic facial outgrowth. "My I enquire, doth that hurt or cause you suffering?" He pointed at the ocular implant on 3s brow.

Taking mental note of what Mokab said about the assassination attempt, Three answered his question "No; it does not cause any physical suffering."

"It looks uncomfortable." He remarked, "least ways, I am holding you from your course of action, but if ever you feel like a visit, here is my abode and you may remit any form of message you need by writing on my door." Mokab smiled as he stood waiting to see if he could assist the former Borg any further.

"Well, I appreciate your offer. You can contact me if I might be of any assistance, as well." Three said, and nodded in thanks.

Mokab gave one of flambouyant bows with a wide toothed smile. "My absolute pleasure. Be careful ahead, if you are venturing further, the coffs onward, are none to fond of strangers." He advised, not looking as he reached for the worn cardboard door to his own domain, "I shall bid you good evening, Mr 3." stepping backwards into his abode.

"Thanks for the warning; good night." Three said, and walked off.
