Aligning the butt of the rifle against her shoulder, Arrienye lowered the sniping scope over her eye. Pressing the silencing button on the side, she aimed.

Looking through the tinted scope, Arrienye got a clear view of Getal's head. The shot was perfect, clear. Taking her time to steady the weapon in her hand, she finally pressed the trigger with a smirk playing on her full lips. A soft puff sound erupted from the rifle and the shot went off toward the Cardassian.

Tharek slapped down on the part of the ridge that was hit. "Now the Federation can't even keep insects off of their bloody station. You wouldn't find a single unauthorized bacterium on a station controlled by Card... " He trailed off into talk as he continued on his walk down the promenade.

Arrienye watched Getal's reaction through the scope before lowering the rifle. Putting it down onto the cold floor beneath her, the woman let out a long sigh she wasn't aware she'd been holding. Starting to dismantle the rifle almost automatically, Arrienye thought about what she'd just done. Not only that, but what could have been.

Tagging Getal the way she did had been incredibly risky, no matter how simple it may have looked to someone observing from the sidelines. If she'd shot him anywhere other than that hardened part of his ridge, where it descended into his shoulder, it would've been too painful to be mistaken for an insect bite. And he wouldn't have just walked away. He was an experienced soldier, like her. And Arrienye knew that, if the same had happened to her, she would've been able to pinpoint almost exactly where the shot had come from. And from where she was, he probably would've seen her. Then it would be over. For good.

Luckily, Arrienye prided herself on being able to read people. And she could read Getal, in a way. At least, enough to realise he was too arrogant to believe anyone would pull something like this against him. No one would dare. Closing the case with her weapon inside, Arrienye quickly gathered everything up and made her way back through the tubes to her office. Dropping down onto the floor, Arrienye checked the chronometer. It had taken her about half an hour to finish this little operation. It was good time, all things considered.

Placing the case behind the shielded panel in her office, Arrienye took out her personal computer and placed it on her desk. Taking a seat behind it, she went through the security measures and was finally granted access.

„Computer, access tracking directory. Open map of DS5. Show targets,“ Arrienye ordered. Two quick beeps later a large map of DS5 showed up in front of Arrienye's eyes. A large grin spread over her face as she saw three signals show up on it. One was from the Consulate, inside the Ambassador's quarters. t'Khellian. The second was on the Dhelan. tr'Tahn.

The last was on the upper level of the Promenade. Tharek Getal.
