"Welcome aboard the Pandora, ma'am." A young Ensign said, looking over his shoulder from the pilot's seat. "You must be some kind of important for them to send a shuttle way out here."

She looked at him with a quizzical expression. "Way out here? We're not that far from Starbase Ninety-Nine."

"True." He replied, "but I was sent from Earth. New class of shuttle too. Kind of experimental, what with the higher warp speeds available. Not to mention the cloak. Not sure why we'll need it but it may come in handy."

Davina set her bag down next to the rest of her belongings that had been transported before her. "Higher Warp Speeds?" She inquired.

"Yes ma'am. R & D says it'll reach warp twelve but they haven't tested it. I took it up to ten before things got a little rocky. I'm not sure if it'll go as fast as they say but I'm told to push her as far as I feel is safe. I might try to take it up to ten point five on the way, if you're up for it."

She smiled at his enthusiasm. "We can try." She said, sitting down in the seat just behind him. The cockpit was arranged a bit different than what she was used to. More of a Delta Flyer configuration than the norm, but a bit larger. A single pilot's chair sat center front with a chair just off set to either side behind it. Navigation and tactical from the looks of it. In the rear sat six seats on either side of the craft facing each other, a transporter pad just beyond that on the left and a necessaries room opposite. There was a door beyond those which presumably led to the engine room.

"Smaller than a Defiant Class, Larger than a typical shuttle." The ensign said. "The door there leads to two spartan quarters and the core beyond that. Not sure how comfortable the beds are in there, but you're welcome to try one out on the way. I'm not sure how long the trip will be. Could be quick, could be slow."

"Depending on how the engines hold up?" Davina asked.

"Zactly." The ensign said, a grin reaching from ear to ear. He looked at her uniform, being careful not to spend too much time on her curvatures. "So you a spook or what?"

"Do I look like a ghost?" She asked.

He laughed. "No, no. A spook, as in spy."

"We don't employ spies in Starfleet." She said. "I work in the Intelligence Department."

"Riiight." He said, winking. "No spies in Starfleet." He laughed, not so much at her but at the idea that there weren't any spies employed by Starfleet. They existed. At least that's what the rumors said. "What about Section 35"

"Doesn't exist." Davina said flatly. "I've heard the rumors as well but there is no substantiation to the claims."

"I hear ya." The Ensign said. "Ah, we're clear to jump to warp. I'll try to get us to Deep Space Five in one piece."

"I'd prefer us to arrive in as many pieces as we are in now." She said, "and properly assembled."

He looked at her in confusion. "If we arrive in one piece," she explained, "then we would have been fused together."

He grimaced at the image that produced in his mind. "Safe. I'll get us there safe." He said, rather sobered by her logic. She smiled after he turned his head, hoping that would keep him quiet for a while. Otherwise it was going to be a long trip indeed.
