The Corsica colony was settled four years ago, the population is just over 5000 it has become home to a mixture of young families who want a new start, retired StarFleet officers who left their career early for various reasons.

Over night it was visited by one man who arrived like a mystery. A largely unmarked Wallace Class ship landed at the small automated space port, the small crew landed mainly to take on supplies but also to check in with the colonies newest member in a sense.

The leader of this expedition whose long field jacket and hidden features covered by a hood walked the dimly lit streets to one house. The female occupant lived with two fraternal twins, a boy and girl, the people of the colony know her as one of the school teachers whose husband had passed away during a starfleet mission gone very bad.

Almost like a shadow the figure peered into a window, the woman was tending to the now toddlers, sitting at a table attempting to eat a meal, the two children giggling as their mother sets dinner at the table.

The figure lowered his head then looked up to see the mother look up in his direction. He pulled back to the shadows as she approached to conceal himself in the shadows. He turned to leave. the figure walked back to the space port.

Secretly he was happy the children would be safe on this small colony for now, and he was satisfied at the result. He walked the short distance too the space port, and boarded the ship.

"Sir we're loaded up again, and ready to go." the pilot said

"The fluctuation in the power core is fixed, it was a bad timing isolinear circuit." the engineer reported.

"Resume our heading, we still have three hops left before we get to Deep Space Five."

"Aye sir." a crew man said.

"Resume trip as scheduled, we have a job to do."

The Wallace class ship vanished into nothingness, as a lone figure looked out the window of her home, "Goodbye Jarred."
