Mr White just shook his head he hated dealing with the younger generation in the field of RnD. They wanted everything handed to them and everything done right away. "You'll have your parts and materials but customs is going to be tricky if you can use some your "charm"." He said using his air quotes, "that might help speed things up."
Zane couldn't help but smile, "my charm I think that's the first compliment you've ever given me." He said with a smirk, "alright let me see what I can do." Zane said knowing in all honesty there was very little he could probably do.
"Alright keep me informed of your progress this could be a very large contract for you Zane and you need it. The board isn't exactly happy that up and left Earth for this remote station." Mr White said, "but I've been able to smooth their ruffled feathers and give you some breathing room."
Zane just shook his head, "they just don't like that I'm not close enough to really control." Zane said with a smirk, "but there is money to made out here. And this new piece of equipment is a perfect start."
The old man just shook his head as much as he hated the young there was something about Zane that reminded him of himself when he was young. Without warning Mr White cut the communique he needed to get back to the board and calm some more ruffled feathers.
