Something happened to Tharek then, as he strode into his office. Something clicked in his brain that made him shiver. Seeing the Kotra pieces on his desk made him sweat. For the first time since coming onto this station, he was nervous.
Isha had somehow managed to get into his embassy without him knowing. Tharek stood in silent, cold thought for a moment.
What if somebody let her in... Or she's corrupted my sta... No, that's just stupid. Get a grip Getal. Get a grip. He thought, shaking his head to remove the thought.
A new array of emotions and feelings flowed through Tharek. Nervousness. Suspicion. Betrayal. But, these emotions and feelings were soon replaced with the ones consistent with Tharek. Anger and rage.
He stormed out of his office with the Kotra pieces in hand, and activated his comm-badge. The words he bellowed down into the badge sent shivers through each and every Cardassian on his pay-roll.
"All Cardassian embassy personnel, report to the embassy for immediate investigation! All other work is cancelled until my order is given to continue!"
