Natrina continued to lie in a pile of latinum while wearing several bracelets and necklaces. "You know Kaia, enough is never enough. After we're done Laundering some of this, we need more. It's somewhat fun isn't it? Deviousness and cunning?"
Kaia was walking around with a PADD counting. "You said it. I learned that lesson a long time ago, Nat." She said with a chuckle. "It's a whole new kind of Freedom once you realize how much better getting the latinum is to actually having it."
Natrina spoke, "I still enjoy shearing sheep in my bar though. Not that I don't enjoy being richer than my wildest dreams. But I do so enjoy tormenting that Bolian on the promenade."
Kaia Laughed. "It is the little pleasures, isn't it though? With this payoff, I might even be able to- who knows... maybe even do some archaeology for a while. I haven't had a client since the feds hired me just before the Baoaran attack. Any ideas on what you want to do with your half?"
Natrina spoke, "Oh, I have places to go and former co-workers to kill. Which reminds me, I think my old shuttle has outlived its usefulness. I think I will invest in a new ship. One with enough state-of-the-art technology that will benefit all of our scheming."
"Heh, and maybe with some weapons if you can get 'em." Kaia added as she moved on to the next pile of gold pressed latinum and continued counting. "but you know how the feds can get about guns on a civvie ship. And after our quality time with the spook and the marine, you can bet they'll have a keen eye on us for a while."
