Her jacket hit the floor, missing the chair by millimetres, but Tasha didn't care and continued to strip off her uniform, determined to take a shower before she did anything else and that included attending to matters that were supposedly more important than her.

She paused as she closed the door and shook her head, momentarily contemplating a full water shower.
"Computer, two minute cycle." She ordered and released the hair band from her hair, shaking it loose with her fingers and then stood with her head tilted backwards as he sonic rays began to peel away the dead layers of skin from her body.
Her thoughts were on two people, Dorian and Jarred as she showered.
They were both integral to her crew, one missing and the other incarcerated and she wanted nothing more than have them both at their posts, despite knowing that neither would be, not presently in any case.

"Cease" She ordered as she sat on the plastic bench within the shower unit and began to sob. Her hands came to her face, shielding her eyes from view and her body began to shake with emotion as she released the pent up frustrations in the privacy of her cubicle.
Her guard was down, her emotions were wrought and she was feeling more exposed to the outsiders than she was sitting naked in her shower.

Tasha lost sense of time and from within the shower, had not heard, or simply chose to ignore the chirp of her communicator.
This was her time, her space and her needs would be catered for and damn anyone who decided that the Captain was required elsewhere.
This was Tasha Tahir, on her own, as her self.

Finally feeling drained, she rose from the chair and slid the cubicle door back and stepping out into her quarters, slid open the door to her wardrobe and took out a plain white silk robe and wrapped it around herself.
This time, she heard the chirp and this time, she chose to ignore it as she looked at it pinned to her jacket that lay in a heap on the floor next to the pale blue chair of her desk.

She padded to the replicator. "Computer, music, loud." And at her command, the walls resonated with the played pipes of some unknown band, but one that Tasha found to be quite relaxing and with the volume so loud, she could easily dismiss any calls from whatever crew person was trying to get her attention.
From the replicator, she pushed the tea that had now gone cold from early that morning and pressed the dispose button before yelling for a similar brew.
She could hear the comm chirp even above the music and again, ignored it, taking the cup and saucer from the replimat and moved to the cushioned chair beneath the window into space and stared outward into the vast blackness that was space. She brought the cup to her lips and began to blow across the surface and was about to sip when the music stopped abruptly.

"Operations to Tahir."

She groaned, more frustrated than annoyed.

"Go ahead Mr Rushtone" She said without trying to disguise the annoyance in tone.

"Sorry Ma'am, but this is important. Priority message from Lieutenant Freeman." Robert advised, not wanting to be the shot messenger.

"Priority message?" She questioned, "What's the priority?"

"He would not say. He asked me to put this through to you as a matter of urgency. It has something to do with the Diplomatic section, overuse of station resources." Robert only half explained.

Tasha shook her head as she lay the cup on the small table in front of her. "If this is not urgent, then I am not going to be very happy with Mr Freeman!" She stated as she crossed back to the wardrobe and took out a plain black dress.

"I will pass that on Ma'am. Operations out." Robert said as he closed the channel.

Tasha changed, slipping on the dress and a pair of shoes and heading out of her quarters and made her way to Engineering and Lieutenant Freemans' office wondering what calamity had struck the diplomatic section.
