Kreallia stepped out from one of the large deck tubes and into the hussle and bussle of the DS5 Promenade. The central spire that sat across from her, housed cafe's, small shops and other assorted establishments, while the lower spire that she could see from the bansiter, was more subbdued and had a more quiet and peaceful feel to it.
Kreallia smiled. "This place really is darkness and light together."
Romulans, Humans, Klingons, Trill, Ferengi, Bajorans, they were all here. Working, shopping and the Romulan and Klingon's cases arrguing.
"No place is perfect." Kreallia laughed under her breath.
"Now I beg to differ." A voice said from behind her.
Kreallia spun around to find a young Human in a Marine uniform standing behind her.
"What makes you think that?" Kreallia asked.
"Well in the course of a Marine Captain's life, I've found that there are many places that are worse than this." The Human laughed.
Kreallia smiled. "And in the course of a Marine Captain's life, has he ever seen a Romulan counselor?" Kreallia asked with a wide grin.
The Human moved to the banister beside her. "No your the first miss?"
"Kreallia t'Jay, I just came in on the Trigati."
"Well miss t'Jay I'm Marine Captain Alexander Richard," Alex said as he extended his lightly tanned hand.
Kreallia extended one of her light olive hands to meet his. "Pleasure to meet you."
"Oh please the pleasure's all mine, its not every day I'm talking to a beautiful Romulan woman." Alex said in a flattering tone.
Kreallia laughed. "It must not happen that often."
Alex shook his head. "No it doesnt." Alex replied as he leaned against the banister with his body facing Kreallia. "Do you need any help finding anything? A good restraunt, a good place to watch the crowd?"
"I'm fine thank you, I need to get to my quarters and see that everything arrived." Kreallia said as she moved away from the banister.
"I guess I'll see you around then?" Alex asked.
Kreallia nodded. "Yeah."
"Well than, I now have a reason to live through the next fire fight!" Alex laughed.
Kreallia smiled. "I guess you do." Kreallia said as she turned around and resumed heading for her quarters.
Alex shook his head. "She is way to good to be true."
