=^=MacKenzie to Davies, please respond.=^= Claire hit her comm badge the minute that Ayren had left. She wanted to get the Commander's approval as soon as possible...she had other things that she was worried about.
Davies was about to speak to T'Lan outside the observation lounge. ~ No wonder Tahir couldn't wait to get out of here, there is hardly a second goes by that somebody doesn't want a piece of the CO.~ He thought as his hand came to his comm.
=^= "Davies here. How can I help?" =^= He said, catching up to the first officer.
=^= Do you have a moment to speak with me? =^=
Davies shook his head. =^= "Not really, I am extremely busy, but what's on your mind? =^= He asked the counsellor as he stood at the Vulcans side.
She sighed, =^= I wanted your permission to work with Ayren in a diplomatic capacity...I have nothing pressing in the mental health department=^=
Davies looked to T'Lan, who he presumed knew more of the staff than he did, but she gave no indication.
=^= "Counsellor, you are new to running that section, with Zorana off station, I don't think we can spare anybody else to Diplomacy right now. Can I ask why you want to change departments?" =^= He scratched at the side of his temple, feeling the pressure of command burdening him, or at last giving the beginning of a pressure headache.
=^= I don't wish to change departments.=^= ~I need to keep my mind busy.~ She thought to herself. =^= I feel that I can be an asset with the present situation. I wont be neglecting my other duties Commander. I have Melody's help as well.=^=
David took a heavy breath, not quite a sigh, but a mind working at a rockets pace needed oxygen.
=^= "Very well counsellor. I take it that you have spoken with Miss Kelan?" =^= Said Davies as he and T'Lan began to walk the corridor.
=^= I have, she asked me to clear it with you and HR first.=^=
Davids brow dropped at her statement. =^= "HR? That's an archaic term. Is there such a department on this station?" He said, not wanting an answer, "Well, if there is, you had better clear it with your department head as well, but I do not forsee a problem." =^=
=^= There isn't Commander...sorry...I guess a little joke.=^=
=^= "Ah. Good." Davies replied, giving a slight shrug of his shoulders, "I will let you inform Ayren she has a new accomplice. Davies out." =^= He said, turning to T'Lan.
