ON:

It had been a long day, the hours were not long enough any longer to allow Tasha any time to herself. Every waking minute there was a problem of one matter or another and here it was again, just after 23:00 and now she was curling herself up, in preparation for a well earned rest.

There were many things on her mind as she began to relax.

The wedding was foremost, she was looking forwards to the event with , yes, even she had to admit it, but a certain amount of trepidation. Being the person to unite two people was a Captains privilege, and one she was more than happy to perform for Chelsea, but she had to stand in front of dozens of family members, trying to seen composed, whilst she knew that underneath, she would be shaking like a leaf in an indefatigable breeze.
This joyous occasion was going to be ever so slightly marred by the fact that the trial would be taking place at around the same time, of Dorian.

This trial was too drawn out and looked to her like it was going to continue well past the extended and allotted five day schedule.
The evidence was contrite to say the least and the Romulans were going to do their level best to ally this one at Gabriel, but all that Tasha could do, was hope and pray, that despite her focus, Isha would be able to make good on her word and along with Karen, the slightest shred of evidence that would clear Dorian completely and allow him to get back to what he did best, or as the case may be, worse.

Then there was Jarred. Who had him and what torture was he enduring. Was there a link to the Borg that had the ability to shift through universes? Was he travelling in Parallel, or was he temporal. Unless evidence could be found, and solid evidence at that, she would have to get Bruce and his team working on some kind of shielding, whether it was phase harmonized, or any other form, she would let him decide.

She felt herself smiling as sleep began to wash over her.
The one thing that had been a pleasure today, was to finally promote the Chief engineer to a warranted Status. Bruce had done so much for DS5, bringing up the recently acquired multi vectored AHDA system that had been ever so beneficial during the Boaoran attack and had been pivotal and deciding the outcome of that battle.
As ever, when ever she thought of that major skirmish, she could not help but think of Captain O’Dowd and how he had changed when she saw him on Earth a few weeks back. He had looked much older, maybe not so much wiser, but certainly distinguished.

And so she relinquished herself into the realms of sleep, it's warming hands cradling her as she fell into a comatose state.
