Saria lighted some candles, near a cauldron containing a mud-alike substance, which stood on a tripod. The lights were severely dimmed, making the candles light the room. Saria moved to the nearby mirror, and took a deep breath.
"I'nora, ja'kala vok 'za Saria. Zhian'tara rek pora'al Zheem Rex tanas rhem Anaia. 'za Saria tanas rhem Anaia. Anaia tanas rhem. Vok Saria, Anaia tanas rhem."

Her face in the mirror morped into that of a Trill woman with long, blonde hair. She was slightly tanned, and had blue eyes just like Saria.
"Missed me?" A voice behind Saria spoke. Saria turned around, and saw the same woman, Anaia Rex, sitting on her black leather couch. She wore a blue 2351 - 2365 era uniform, with three full rank pins: Commander.
"No way I should miss you..." Saria snarled. Anaia smirked, as it looked like she entertainer herself with it.
"Then why did you transfer me to your mind, Saria?" Anaia asked, crossing her legs. "Because of what I said to that fighter pilot about Trill society? Forget that, you know just as me that going to Starfleet with it won't help either. The Symbiosis Commission is not consisting of fools, they know how to hide it. After all, he asked himself about the Symbiosis Commission."
"He was just asking some things! And then you brought it to a point where you had to say that about our society!" Saria said, while walking trough her quarters.

Anaia smiled. "What should I have told him then? That we Trills are know for our joining, but not even half of our population can join? You know what vision they get on us then?"
"You should have said nothing. Just stay where you belong and don't take control of me for your own good. And especially not when I'm on duty." Saria exclaimed. She stood at the other end of the room, looking in the mirror.
"Look at you. You're 1200 years old, but you are a Science officer that repairs shuttles when there's no workcrew around. By the way, I don't see the point why all the hosts after me joined that damned Starfleet as well..." Anaia replied, standing up and walked to Saria.

"What should I do then? Tend the symbiont pools in the caves of Ma'kala?" Saria said, looking at Anaia.
"Why yes, at least they won't let you behind, stranded on a planet which is in the middle of a civil war. Those caves are nice and relaxing. No need to shoot anyone around, just you and the symbionts..." Anaia spoke, coming closer to Saria. However, Saria walked to the mirror. She saw the face of Anaia again, and began to speak.
"Chzui vok Saria sheyhal bashar. I'nora ja'kala vok. Zheem Rex nah sass eye ahn. D'za oo bah zheest. Anaia rhee jehr hey dah. Tu Rex noh zhian 'vok j'zui. Anaia rhem tanas Saria."

Anaia faded away, becoming part of Saria's memory again.
