Tashi was sound asleep in his room when Olin crept out of his into the shared living area of their small quarters. Swivelling the comms console around to face him, he sat on the sofa, and waited for the call. She was taking an enormous risk, calling him like this, but He was glad she was. He couldn't wait to see her perfect, delicate face.
And sure enough, Lemat's face soon appeared on the screen. "Olin? Are you there?" Her slender face and voice came to light, and despite her cold grey colour and hard contours, she looked absolutely divine.
Olin suddenly realised he'd been holiding his breath and let it out noisily, relieved. "Boy, are you a sight for sore eyes. I was beginning to worry The Reptile had caught you sneaking back in the other night."
"He'd have an easier time holding back the entire Dominion on his own." She replied with a luscious tone, and a certain glint in her eye. "I missed you."
"I missed you two," Olin settled back, relaxing now he knew she was safe. "When can I see you again?"
"I don't know. That damned Ambassador has me going to some seminar with him... Something about station architecture. He caught wind of it and now we 'must' go." She said, mocking Getal's voice as a child would.
"But that's perfect." Olin told her, "I can meet you there, we can sneak off after..."
"Are you sure? Wouldn't Getal notice us? What if he see's us?" She bombarded Olin with question after question, visibly becoming nervous.
"OF course not!" Olin shook his head earnestly "I can hide in the back, and when it gets dark I can sneak down closer."
"It seems dangerous," She began with a pause, but quickly followed with more. "But I want to see you, so I'll take that risk!"
"Then its a date. Send me when and where, and I promise to stay out of sight Okay?"
"Okay." She affirmed, before looking deep into Olin's eyes from the monitor. "I really can't wait to see you."
"Me neither. Stay safe okay, Don't let the bastard get you down."
She touched the screen with her fingertips. "I won't." Lemat smiled sincerely, before the screen snapped to black. She then jumped up, ran to her bedroom and began to giggle uncontrollably as she rummaged through her wardrobe.
