Interlude – Updates

Wayne had spent the last several days pouring over reports from the differant enterprises that the company operated. While it was not something he liked to do he knew that if he did not personally keep tabs on some aspects things could go very wrong very fast.
The main thing that he kept tabs on and was actually eager to get information on was the gamma quadrant colony that had been dispatched a short time ago. The last report that he had gotten said that they had arrived in the colony system. There had not been any reports since then until today.
Before him sat a 12 page report from the colony commander. The basics of it were that they had setup the main colony site and had basic structures in place. Also they had managed to get a basic defensive arrangement for the system setup as well. This las part was slightly disturbing in a way it ment that there was indeed some activity in the system that might or might not be bad.
Considering that this was to be the crown jewel in the company it made him slightly nervious when report of light pirate activity get put in reports. The system was to rich not to attract attention of others but he and his people had gotten there first and by god he would defend it with whatever he had available to do so if that is what it took to keep the largest and potentially most prosperious colony in the company from being destroyed then that is what he would just have to do.
