“That’s odd.”

“What’s odd?”

“I just received a personal message.”

“How is that odd? We send those around the department every day.”

“This appears to be an anonymous tip about an attempted hack of our databases, doing internal raw scans for blacklisted terms about the Lantaru project. They gave terminal information and everything. Check it out.”

“Indeed. Looks like we have a stranger in the house. I’ll start a trace on it. Who sent you the message?”

“That’s the problem. I don’t know.”

“To deliver the message the file process would have to have tags.”

“I know, but somehow the message tags were scrubbed. Oh look. It’s condescendingly signed ‘Keeping Tabs’.”

“You didn’t trace it?”

“I did. To fragmented garbage files on my own terminal…”

“That’s unsettling. No chance it would be agent Dulmer or someone else in the department playing a joke.”

“You know we don’t joke around here, especially about strangers in the house; Agent Dulmer even less so.”

“Good point. *Sigh* I’ll let the director know. At least with two of them, one was kind enough to tell us about the other.”

“The one we can find is not the one I’m worried about; this sort of thing is why the Admiral Hogue assassination case is still open. I’ll reserve a long range shuttle. Looks like we’re going on a trip-”
