Database: Operations
Operations on a Starbase is totally different from that on board a Starship.
Starbase Primary Operations, is more to do with the command structure and how commands are distributed throughout the station.
A small part is still dedicated to the Computers and Diagnostics systems, but is umbrellared under the Engineering department.
On DS5, Main Operations is decked on 12 through 13, within the Command suite, but in extremely busy times, there is a secondary Operations deck on level 65, which is deeper in to the central core of the station, and can take full control of the station if the Primary Operations is somehow lost.
